When I think of Street art and Graffiti art, a male artist normally comes to mind, so it was interesting to see, over 150 international female artist of all ages and races celebrating and participating in the FemmeFierceUK Reloaded 2015 , a Female Street Art festival.
The 12th London ParallaxArtFair was held at the gorgeous Chelsea Town Hall, Kings Road. The Chelsea town hall has been described as a place lost in time, while everything else along King’s Road has progressed; the town hall provides a place to pause and admire the charm of the past.
My creative quest took me to a multidisciplinary event of art and fashion showcasing the works of emerging and established Romanian artist and designers. I thought it would be a good idea to attend to explore and have a glimpse into Romania’s culture and traditions through visual arts and fashion.
Buy art at your hairdresser’s or are they merely decorative pieces? I found myself in East London, Shoreditch the buzzing art district of the Eastend. I was attending an art event I read about and I was excited to go. However to my disappointment, it was a big letdown, a subject for another blog post.
