JonaQuestArt organises pop-up events, exhibitions and participates in Art Fairs around the UK and Europe. We are looking for talented individuals with good communication skills and able to interact confidently with members of the public. Having an interest in the visual arts is a bonus.
The individual will be expected to perform the following:-
- Help with the organization and promotion of events
- Help with the set-up, hanging of art works and participate in the curating process
- Help during events: serving refreshments, greeting people at the door and signing them in
- Taking down artworks and clearing up after events
- Man exhibition stands or Pop Up Gallery unsupervised
- Meet clients and help with the selling and packaging of Art Works sold
- Any ad-hoc duties that may be needed including light cleaning and tidying up
We are looking for a number of flexible individuals that we can add to our books to call upon when we have events.
This position will be suitable for freelancers, students, people interested in the Arts or anyone interested in gaining experience in organising and participating in Art Events. The successful candidate will be expected to have the following qualities.
- Being able to interact with members of the public confidently
- Act in a professional manner
- Reliable and able to use initiative
- Enthusiastic and trustworthy
- Able to work un-supervise
- Flexible to work Monday to Friday and some weekends
