Atlanta may not be your typical tourist destination in the US. It maybe famously known for the TV series The real Housewives of Atlanta or home to numerous African American musicians like RnB singer Usher, Hip-Hop artist Ludicrous. That said, there are amazing reasons to visit. It is home to many multinational corporations like coca-cola and hosted the 1996 Olympics. Atlanta also has a reputation as a “city in a forest” due to an abundance of trees that is not common in major city dwellings.

Atlanta is the capital of the state of Georgia and is located in the Southern part of North America. The main neighbourhoods include Downtown, Midtown, Buckhead, west side and east side. Downtown is home to the Convention & Entertainment District, where most of the tourist attractions are located. Atlanta has an eclectic mix of attractions that will definitely appeal to even the discerning.

Stay at the W Hotel Down Town Atlanta, located in the business district of Atlanta with easy access to main attractions, which are within walking distance. The fitness Centre, Restaurant and Rooftop pool and bar all makes for a luxurious stay. The W hotel is one of my favourite hotel chains in the world. I love their contemporary décor and what the W stands for.
