Nyanhongo E is a professional Sculptor from the multigenerational Nyanhongo family of Sculptors in Zimbabwe, he has exhibited and sold extensive works internationality.
He trained under the guidance of his father, Sculptor Claude Nyanhongo, one of the pioneers of stone sculpture in Zimbabwe. He began sculpting full-time in 1993 using springstone, opal, Nyanga serpentine and partly Leopard rock and Lapidolite as his chosen medium, drawing inspiration from the the Nyanga mountains. In his works he portray’s human affinity with nature, animals, birds, spirits, and mythological beliefs of the Shona tribe.
