Caalista Painter, born Paris, is a mixed media artist. Self-taught artist, her artistic approach is “to create a vision of another world, more colourful, more psychedelic and more surreal Intuition is my guide to creating colourful imaginary universes. Thus, without sketch or idea of the final result, I let myself be guided by my feelings. I use both mixed media on canvas and the digital medium. Both feed each other.  If painting is my first impulse the digital stimulates my creativity by its flexibility and the infinity of possibilities it offers me .When I paint, my struggle with materials gives me a sensory and tactile experience that is absent from my digital art. When I am facing screen everything is possible. Textures, forms, brightness, colours, all these elements become a source of inspiration.”

Cristina Cantilena is an Italian artist who makes mixed media artwork assemblages using collage, fabric, paint, found objects, wood, paper and plastic toys. Her creations are abstract and sometimes more planned , even geometric in design. Her artwork is immediate and intuitive with the raw energy of a curious young artist setting out on their path to find their own style through experimentation.
Themes centre around flags, maps, travel, books, arrows and signs suggesting the artist is well on her way. Her message on her travels eg ‘Universal Recycling’ is peppered with colourful reminders to us and to political figures that we are all responsible for the earth and its cleanup.

Abul Kasim is a young emerging mixed media artist concerned with colour, texture and nature. “My art often depicts strong colours, texture, dark and light which exaggerates realism. My work covers, amongst other things, fields, nature, trees, skies and land with elements of surrealism. I also draw creativity from the visual world that I have created in my unconscious mind. Abdul’s abstract expressionist artwork allows him to “ponder life” and practice mindfulness. His artwork is uplifting and honest. He uses different art techniques to create moods and allows the viewer to join him on his journey by tapping into their corresponding mood.

Vanessa Birley is an intuitive & expressive oil painter who adores nature, especially florals in all it’s colourways.,  As a young girl Vanessa was moved by the grace & awe of the natural world. The witnessing of a young gazelle snatched from its mother by feline jaws, left an indelible imprint in her mind. The call to communicate the fragility & beauty of life left its signature & continues to move Vanessa in her creativity. From sitting in her room as a child drawing horses she now finds the greatest joy in painting. Gaining her MA from Goldsmiths, London & BFA from the Academy of Art, San Francisco, Vanessa pursued working as an art therapist & was witness to art as a transformative healing process.

Works will be on show from the 1st of June.
There will also be a collection of complementary contemporary accessories.
